Hello and Happy Wednesday!
This week’s edition of Wednesday Words comes with great excitement as it is the first one for our new location!
As it is the next chapter for PMA and a tremendous opportunity for continued growth, success, and new endeavors, our admin team would like to provide some groundwork/expectations for us as teachers in our new space.
In this location, we are surrounded by several businesses that tend to pick up steam in the afternoon and evening, and as a result, the front parking lot fills up quickly. To guarantee that our clients have a better chance at finding parking, we are allotting the rear parking lot next to the water treatment plant exclusively for teachers. You may enter through the back room, which is currently being used for lessons during construction, so please enter quietly and be mindful of lessons if they are ongoing when you arrive.
Any materials that you may need as teachers (printer, books, etc.) are located on the black bookcase in the back of the building, as well as the white shelves near the office. We are also labeling the printers with different names in the print screen for ease of access and to show you exactly which printer is receiving the print job! If you need a book for use, you will need to meet with the front desk to purchase a copy. The books up front are for customer sale/display ONLY and cannot be used during lessons.
New to us is a legitimate breakroom/kitchen! You may utilize the fridge, microwave, table, water cooler, or simply hang out in the room during your break time. If you do enjoy any drinks or food, please clean up any wrappers/spills/food debris to help us keep the room in great shape. Especially with the construction still ongoing, it is vitally important to remain clear of the halls/walkways on breaks. You are welcome to hang out in your room, outside for some fresh air, in the breakroom, but please keep the high-traffic areas clear!
We are beyond jazzed to be in the new space with upgraded facilities, better amenities, and more accessibility for teachers and students alike. Please be as respectful as possible and help us keep our space amazing! Please be aware of your volume, close doors gently, know that open drinks MUST stay OUT of your room (carpet cleaning is expensive, if you choose to break this policy and spill, we may assess a cleaning fee), and be generally aware of your surroundings. Students are excited to be here, and I’m sure I speak for us all when I say we are as well. Here’s to the next great journey for PMA, and thanks for being a part of it!
Warmest regards,
