Please provide the name of the performer when you submit your sign up.) After, you can check on Opus1.io on your student’s profile to see which Session you enrolled in.
WHAT TIME DO I ARRIVE?: Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your performance time. If you perform at 2 p.m., arrive at 1:30 p.m., etc.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?: Each performer performs one piece during one 50 minute set. The sets are designed so that you can leave after you or your child performs. As a courtesy to all of the performers, please watch the entire 50 minute program as we want every student to have the same amount of respect from the audience.
WHERE IS IT?: New Life Community Church is located at 8155 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria, AZ 85381. The recital will take place indoors. You will check your student in at a table by the entrance then take your seat.
WHERE DO I PARK?: There is plentiful parking in the parking lot adjacent to the church.
WHAT DO THE PERFORMERS WEAR?: Formal recital attire. Black pants or skirts and white button up shirts or tops is traditional for performances, but not obligatory. Recitals are an important event in a student’s musical development, so we do ask our students to dress nicely. Tie back long hair and wear appropriate shoes. Suits and more formal dresses are welcome. There will an opportunity to take photos as well, so dress your best!
WHAT DO WE BRING?: 1. Your sheet music if you use it. 2. Your instrument. We will provide a keyboard, a drum kit, amps, and cables for you. 3. Yourself!
CAN WE TAKE PICTURES AND VIDEO?: Yes! Please no flash photography and silence your cellphones.
IS THERE AN ADMISSION CHARGE?: The recital is free and open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend.
