Good morning, PMA teachers!

Welcome back for the third edition of “Wednesday Words”. I promise that this email will be shorter in length, but just as useful!

As a follow up to last week’s topic of elevating customer experience, I’d like to try to provide you with the most helpful, clear information regarding the Musical Ladder program. Please note that it is a highly valuable and effective tool for keeping parents in the loop, students engaged, AND maintaining a high retention rate for us as teachers. Checking in with parents every week is a great way to stay on the same page, and by letting them know about the Musical Ladder/encouraging them to help their children prepare for upcoming tests, we will all be pushing toward consistency, transparency, trust, and improvement. Some of your students may not want to participate, some have no idea that the program exists, and some wonder why they are not doing the tests.

I have attached a PDF that should cover every base, from how to test, to when to test, to what you need to do, to a sample interaction with your students and a timeline for testing.

As always, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to reach out and I will happily help out! Thank you for all of your hard work, devotion, and impact on our students day in and day out. You all rock!

Warmest regards,

Daniel Christensen
