Good morning, PMA teachers, and happy Wednesday!

First off, thank you all for taking the time to read these emails each week and for providing feedback. I am glad to know that the information given to you every Wednesday has been helpful and useful. This week will be a bit shorter than usual, as our only topics are the upcoming retirement home performance, as well as some NEW RECITAL INFO!!!

As mentioned in last week’s email, PMA will be performing for the Arrowhead Valley Retirement Center on Saturday, October 21st. This performance is only going to be about an hour or so in length, so we are capping our performer count at 25 for this show. If you have students who would like to sign up, please direct them to the front desk. Laura is currently working on the sign-up form, which should be going out to families on Thursday. Again, no drum students for this show, as our logistical layout allows for piano, voice, violin, ukulele, or guitar. If your student will require a backing track, please submit them no later than October 7th to the Office email.

The moment we’ve all been waiting for..RECITAL UPDATE! We have secured a date AND venue for our Fall Recital! Friday, November 17th and Saturday, November 18th at the New Life Church, right off of 83rd and Thunderbird and just a few seconds away from our Thunderbird location. More information will come with prep notes, FAQs, expectations, and guidelines for the performances. Make sure you save the dates so you can plan to be in attendance! Please begin preparing pieces for your students as soon as possible if they are interested in performing, as eight weeks will fly by!

That’s all for this week’s Wednesday Words! Please reach out if you have any questions, or if you need anything from me. Thanks for all of your hard work each and every day, you all rock!

Warmest regards,

Daniel Christensen
