Good morning, PMA teachers, and welcome to the final 2023 edition of Wednesday Words.
First off, thank you all for digging deep and powering through these last few weeks with all of the sickness and chaos in the air. 2023 has overall been a year full of change, adversity, growth, and opportunity for PMA, and 2024 holds even more potential for great success. We wouldn’t be here without you, and couldn’t have done it without you.
Next, a HUGE THANK YOU to Laura, Bri, and Nicole for being pillars of support in some pretty crazy times and challenging situations. The recital coordination, Second Saturdays, new space rollout, magically pulling out the stops for scheduling/subbing on a daily basis…all of it has been incredible, but most importantly, being the glue for us has been absolutely invaluable and beyond words of appreciation. They are truly the best and deserve the praise!
We’ve come to the end of our calendar for this year, and our holiday break looms around the corner. We’re off 12/24-1/3, resuming lessons on 1/4. Whatever you may celebrate, or however you may do it, we hope you have a safe, enjoyable, refreshing break and are ready to storm into 2024 with a full head of steam. You all have done so much for the academy, so please savor your time off!
Lastly, if you have changed your phone number or address during the year and have not updated it with PMA, please send those changes to the office email by End of Day Friday. These changes must be updated in our payroll system before we go to break, so please be prompt in sending in that info!
Once again, thank you all for a tremendous year. I personally am honored to work with/for you and be a part of an amazing admin team, and you all make my days a little bit better whenever I need it. I’m grateful for all of you as humans, educators, and colleagues. I can’t wait to tackle 2024 together!
Have a great break!
Warmest regards,
Daniel Christensen
