Happy Wednesday! For this week’s edition of Wednesday Words, I will be providing some important updates regarding our NEW LOCATION, so PLEASE read through the following info!
First off…if you have missed the news/updates/conversation, we are moving! Our first day of operation at PMA Union Hills will be Monday, February 26. The address is 8110 W Union Hills Dr, Ste 200. PMA Lake Pleasant will no longer be in use as of February 26. PMA THUNDERBIRD will remain open until construction has been completed. With this in mind, it is crucial that you pack up/take home your personal belongings from Lake Pleasant as soon as possible. If any posters/papers/signs/etc are left behind, they will be thrown out! Please avoid the headache, clean up your room, and keep your things safe!
Second on the agenda…teachers MUST park in the back of the building at Union Hills. The front of the building serves as parking for all of the businesses in the complex, including our clients. The back parking area nearest to the Glendale Water Plant is open all day/night for teacher parking. Because there is still construction happening as well, the crew will need to access the front door at will. The back parking lot will be used as a teacher-specific entrance through the multi-purpose room.
Lastly…although our main rooms will be open and lessons will be taking place, buildout is ongoing and will be ongoing for a period of time. Due to the possibility of liability issues and potential safety risks, teachers MUST do the following:
Come to the front to greet/release students
Escort students to the restroom/water fountain if they need it during lessons
Accompany students if they need to step out to grab materials
Be responsible for keeping an eye on your student at all times immediately before, during, and after your lessons
There is electrical work underway, as well as potentially dangerous equipment that could be touched/bumped into/played with that may cause injury. It is absolutely critical to be mindful of these circumstances until construction is complete.
If you have questions, comments, concerns, feedback, ANYTHING you may need, I implore you to reach out to me so I can assist you. I am happy to help as best as I can or to guide you in the right direction.
Have an excellent rest of the week, and here’s to an exciting week ahead!
Warmest regards,
Daniel Christensen
