We teach all styles, from rock, pop and jazz to country, blues and classical.
How qualified are the Academy's piano instructors?
Our piano and music instructors have received their education from prestigious institutions such as Manhattan School of Music, BYU, Arizona State University, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, Arizona Christian University, California State University, University of North Texas, and University of Southern California. Many have toured the US and Europe, and bring many years of professional performance and teaching experience to your lessons.
What will I learn from piano lessons at the Academy?
Our talented and patient teachers are ready to teach you all about piano, starting with how to properly sit and hold your posture. Using a wide variety of books that reach every style of learning, you’ll work on sight reading, technique, theory, and incorporate your favorite songs into your lessons.
Do I have to know how to read music?
You can begin lessons even if you do not know how to read music; beginners are welcomed!
Do I need a piano to learn the instrument?
We recommend having a simple full size electronic keyboard at home as you begin your lessons. We offer a variety of keyboards appropriate for beginners. Monthly rentals are available as well!
